About Tom Gallovich

Tom Gallovich is a Western Pennsylvania artist and photographer who is captivated by wildlife and nature. Living in a self built home that also houses his studio, he spends his free moments capturing the color and texture of the natural world, much of which lies just beyond his doorstep. He also draws inspiration from his travels as well, whether that result in depictions of the tropical waters of Bonaire, or the rugged New England coastline.

He has been exhibiting his work since 1992 and his paintings and photographs have been featured in international jurored shows, as well as selected for publication in various books and magazines.

Tom has worked as a full time instructor of commercial art and photography, as well as a photography instructor for national wildlife art symposiums. He is an established commercial photographer.

When Tom isn't meeting the demands of his photography clients, you will most likely find him with brush in hand, experimenting with new lines and patterns. He also enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing at home, witnessing the quiet simplicity of the wildlife all around him.

The following is a list of national and international shows Tom participated in. This includes other events of interest. Tom has also received over 100 places and awards on a regional and tri-state area. They include some of the following; Pymatunning Water Fowl Festival, Saxonburg Arts Festival, Freeport Arts Festival, Ritz Photo Contests, Pennsylvania Magazine and Birders World Magazine.
