In this demo I start with a freehand drawing then convert it to a main mask layer. Combining this mask with other masks isolate each area I wish to work on. I then use a Transparency Lock on a water layer to establish a final masking layer. I use photos as reference to guide me with lighting issues and how to best establish an intense light source direction. I also discuss various textures and techniques to best render given objects. This is a demo of a painting that evolves to improve the final piece.
